Record ProRes RAW - Edit In Your Favourite Software


Atomos has partnered with Assimilate to give customers the means to edit ProRes RAW in their preferred software application.

Anyone buying and registering a Ninja V, Ninja V+, or any Ninja Bundle, from now until 30th April, 2022 will be entitled to download a permanent license of Assimilate Play Pro FREE OF CHARGE – a saving of over £220 (equivalent to $299)! 

Using Play Pro in ProRes workflows opens doors to nearly every video editing and video processing software available today. ProRes RAW recorded on Atomos devices loaded into Play Pro enables creatives to adjust any RAW parameter before exporting in Apple ProRes (4444 XQ, 4444, 422 HQ, 422, 422 LT, 422 Proxy) or H264/5.

Available on both macOS and Windows, Play Pro can debayer to all known colour spaces and log-curves, including ACES, whether using existing LUTs or generating your own LUTs.

Play Pro can adjust parameters that even software that natively supports Apple ProRes RAW isn't able to. Play Pro’s transcoding engine also supports over 20 codecs, including RED REDCODE RAW, ARRI RAW, Sony, Canon, Panasonic AVC-Intra and Z CAM ZRAW. 

Anyone who purchased an Atomos Ninja after 15th January 2022 is eligible for a FREE copy of Play Pro, which can be redeemed at MyAtomos. Product registration will also activate new features extend the warranty period.

Existing owners of a Ninja V or Ninja V+ bought before January 15th 2022 can also benefit by registering their device to purchase Assimilate PlayPro for the discounted price of approximately £75 ($99).
