The new DeckLink Duo 2 is a smaller version of the new DeckLink Quad 2 card, released at IBC 2015.
DeckLink Duo 2 solves the problem of developers who want to design multi channel HD systems with one simple card. This new model also handles 3G-SDI so it supports high HD frame rates up to 1080p60 on each channel all at the same time.
DeckLink Duo 2 does this because while the old model was 2 channels, this new model actually has 4 completely separate channels in one card. The 2 extra channels are normally hidden, but can be turned on when needed by the software developer or in the DeckLink control panel. It uses the same Blackmagic Design Desktop Video SDK so if you have any of our other capture cards then this new model will just work.
The new DeckLink Duo 2 is the same price as the older model at $495 and is in stock and available now.
