Transform Sony’s XLR-H2 Handle Unit into a stronger, more capable rigging platform. The Backbone D-Handle Extension provides a larger, more comfortable grip for handheld operation while securely attaching to both the top and rear of the original handle for dramatically improved rigidity.

Its low-profile design preserves the compact feel of the XLR-H2 while expanding where and how accessories can be mounted. An integrated NATO rail, cold shoe receiver, and ARRI-style anti-twist 3/8”-16 mount provide flexible placement for monitors, wireless systems, audio accessories, battery plates, and more. The included top NATO rail is completely optional, allowing you to configure the handle around the needs of each build.

By extending accessory mounting positions, the Backbone D-Handle Extension also makes it easier to optimize balance, maintain clean cable routing, and create a more controlled setup for demanding handheld and production workflows.
