Samyang Announces Expansion of XEEN CF Line-up with NEW 135MM T2.2 Lens

Korean manufacturer Samyang Optics, a global optical brand distributed exclusively by Holdan in the UK and Ireland, announces the new XEEN CF 135mm T2.2 lens, designed for PL, Canon EF and Sony E mount full-frame cameras and priced at £1,716 (€1,991) plus VAT.

The XEEN CF line-up now comprises 6 of the most-used focal lengths: 16mm T2.6, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, 85mm T1.5, and NEW 135mm T2.2. Each lens boasts fast T stop values, excellent image quality and enhanced user-friendly features.

Carbon fibre build – compact & flexible

Carbon fibre is lightweight without sacrificing durability. The lens is designed to be small and light so it can be mounted on numerous cameras and used in a variety of environments.

8K & cinematic look

The lens has outstanding resolution, capable of supporting a large image sensor up to 8K. It also offers beautiful bokeh with a bright T2.2 aperture, maximising the emotions of an image while richly depicting the shot.

X-Coating

Samyang’s proprietary X-Coating technology controls the reflection of light inside the lens itself to create a distinctive look, properly utilising flares and ghosting to create dramatic effects.

Outstanding Usability

The front aperture (95mm), focus and aperture ring gear positions are unified, making it easy to attach and detach lens accessories such as matte box and follow-focus. In addition, the ultra-bright luminous font is convenient for use in dark environments.
