Lumens has announced a major integration of its IP-based technology with ATEN’s control system, marking a significant advancement in the design and management of AV environments. This new collaboration enables robust, automated AV systems that can be managed through intuitive user interfaces - both on touch panels and mobile apps.
The partnership allows Lumens’ cutting-edge AV products to be easily integrated with third-party technologies, delivering a streamlined, fully automated user experience. Whether it’s a single AI-powered camera or a complex, multi-source AV setup, users can now control entire systems with just a few taps.
This is a clear win for Lumens customers who will benefit from ATEN’s intuitive approach to system management and control. As far as end users are concerned, ATEN’s interfaces are both attractive and extremely easy to use, making for an excellent customer experience.
The integration supports single-click activation of Lumens AI tracking cameras and voice-tracking systems tailored to multiple room configurations. With Lumens’ CaptureVision solution, users can initiate lecture capture and streaming sessions instantly. The system also enables flexible routing of audio and video across IP and IPTV networks, made possible through Lumens' OIP transcoders and converters.
Automation extends beyond AV controls - ATEN’s system can leverage AI camera data to automatically switch display content based on room activity. It also includes energy-saving features like auto shut-off for equipment, eliminating the need for manual intervention and promoting sustainable usage.
ATEN’s Control System is Ethernet-based and designed for seamless integration across various devices and environments. It brings together controllers, expansion units, management software, and intuitive control interfaces to centralise device management. The result: streamlined operation for everything from classrooms and meeting rooms to training centers and large conference spaces.
Additionally, ATEN’s suite of solutions - including room booking, wireless presentations, and video matrix systems—adds extra layers of functionality, further enhancing the user experience.
Lumens and ATEN will showcase the power of this integration at Computex Taiwan 2025, running from May 20–23 at Taipei’s Nangang Exhibition Center. Attendees can visit Booth #K0816 to see the technology in action and experience firsthand how this partnership is shaping the future of AV automation.
