As we move into the Autumn months, we head into a final flurry of trade shows: KitPlus events at Twickenham and Bristol, plus Midwich’s Tech Xpo.

KitPlus Twickenham & Bristol – What to Expect?

KitPlus has steadily built a reputation for staging regional shows in a relaxed atmosphere. They provide an opportunity to see leading manufacturers, distributors and resellers of professional video, broadcast and media equipment a bit closer to home. KitPlus events also include seminars, workshops and training sessions.

Twickenham Stadium

The iconic Twickenham Stadium is a great venue with lots of space and easy access for those who will be travelling to the event. This is the second successive event at this location, and we’ll be hoping for better weather this year! The show takes place on Friday, 30th September from 10am to 4pm.

Bristol Grand Hotel

The Kit Plus setting for the Bristol show is slap-bang in the centre of the city in a brand-new location, the Mercure Grand Hotel. The event takes place on Tuesday 4th October, again from 10 am to 4 pm. The venue is just a 10-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads Station, with easy-to-reach car parks and public transport for those who will be travelling to the event.

What we’ll be showing at KitPlus:

ATOMOS

• On a compact Voyager 36 cart from INOVATIV, we’ll have the usual array of ATOMOS monitors, including NINJA V+, SHOGUN and SUMO. We will be showcasing the ATOMOS CONNECT cloud-to-camera and collaborative workflows.
• A Panasonic GH6 will be fully rigged with an Ultimate Rig from Kondor Blue, XEEN CF 35mm T1.5 lens and ATOMOS NINJA V+.
• New for KitPlus, and for Holdan, will be the Hollyland Mars 4K wireless transmission system.

A Choice of PTZ Cameras

• Two INOVATIV Apollo 40 EVO carts will showcase a range of PTZ cameras including BirdDog’s PF120, P120 & P4K, DataVideo’s PTC-300NDI, Panasonic’s AW-UE50 and Lumens’ superb entry-level VC-R30.
• Play – BirdDog's newest and smallest 4K NDI player - will be connected to an ASUS ProArt 32” display to show off their newly updated, easy to use interface.
• A Hollyland Intercom Headset Kit will also be demonstrated.

Kramer

• Another Apollo 40 EVO will house Kramer’s brand new SMP2 12G-SDI MultiViewer in conjunction with an ASPEN-32RUFX 32-port 12G-SDI route and Kramer’s own PTZ offering, the K-CAM4K wide-angle UltraHD camera.

Tech Xpo 2022

Meanwhile, in the world of AV, Holdan will also be attending Tech Xpo, a Midwich event which takes place at Ascot Racecourse on the 5th and 6th of October.

There is nothing quite like a face-to-face event, networking with old and new acquaintances, discussing the latest market developments. I think I can speak for everyone when I say we missed collaborating over the last few years, which makes us more excited than ever to be back doing what we love!

What we’ll be showing at Tech Xpo

ATOMOS

• We will be focusing on ZATO CONNECT and NEON, just some of the tools transforming the way digital film and video content is made around the world.

BirdDog

• The newly-released P120 PTZ camera has excellent lowlight performance and 20x optical zoom. As well as full NDI support, it’s also equipped with SDI, HDMI and UVC USB connectivity.

Blackmagic Design

• The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro will be on show, fully rigged with Kondor Blue accessories, Samyang prime lens and ATOMOS ZATO CONNECT.

Datavideo

• A collection of Datavideo products will be featured as part of a live streaming system including the PTZ camera PTC-280NDI, iCast 10NDI 5-channel all-in-one streaming switcher and a portable conference teleprompter.

Lumens

• Lumens VC-R30 full HD IP PTZ camera is equipped with a Sony 1/2.8-inch image sensor. It delivers a maximum resolution of 1080p 60 fps.

INOVATIV

• INOVATIV designs and manufacturers world-class workstations and we will be using the Voyager, Echo, and AXIS carts for all products on display.

Roland

• Direct streaming AV mixer SR-20HD from Roland is powerful, portable and simple to operate, making it easy to manage all live streaming requirements.

Rotolight

• A recent addition to the Holdan portfolio, the Rotolight Titan X1 comes with a full-colour touchscreen display that lets you preview each filter to achieve the exact colour you need.

Panasonic

• The AW-UE150 was one of the first 4K 50p PTZs to hit the market and has built a reputation for superb image quality and reliability in any environment. Our technical team will also manage the two-day event’s live stream, including seminars and live demonstrations, all of which can be viewed on Midwich’s social media platforms.

Other Holdan vendors at Tech Xpo

Both Lumens and INOGENI will be attending Tech Expo in their own right. Panasonic PTZs – including the UE-80 and UE-100 – will also be used in the XR installation on the PSCo booth.
