Syrp (http://www.syrp.co), a world leader in fluid support and motion control products for film, video and photographic production, has announced a new distribution partnership in the UK and Ireland. Holdan will now work exclusively with Syrp to offer pre-sales advice, marketing and product sales via its extensive network of professional resellers.
The Syrp range includes a number of motion control products, smooth slider systems, cable cams, and pan tilt heads. Syrp will sit alongside Holdan’s growing distribution portfolio of professional camera technology that includes Wooden Camera, Teradek, Movcam, Manfrotto, Panasonic, Blackmagic and SmallHD.
Kieron Seth, Holdan’s Sales & Marketing Director commented:
The Syrp range is an exciting addition to our production kit portfolio, giving customers access to some of the industry’s most innovative and cost-effective production tools. Our reach into the film, video, broadcast and photographic sectors makes us ideally placed to connect Syrp’s technology with new customers and new markets.
As video becomes increasingly more commonplace in public and private sector organizations alike, Syrp gives producers – both established professionals and newcomers - a truly creative edge. Holdan will introduce the technology to a new generation of media professionals who are streaming on YouTube, Vimeo or over private networks on a daily basis, but are looking to stand out from the crowd.
Ben Ryan from Syrp noted:
We are extremely excited about announcing our partnership with Holdan for exclusive distribution in UK and Ireland. Holdan brings a wealth of experience across both the photo and video channels which perfectly complements our product range and strategy for growing in the UK.
The range of Syrp professional products is now listed at www.holdan.co.uk.
Located near Manchester, Holdan is part of the Midwich Group of companies which has offices in the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Germany. Its trade-only model marries technical expertise with a clear focus on distribution and customer service. Together the group employs over 650 staff and has a diverse base of approximately 10,000 customers.
Syrp was born from a passion for flim-making and a lack of portable, user-friendly equipment. Based in Auckland, New Zealand Syrp designs gear with a film-maker first approach enabling independent content creators to focus more of their energy on creating films rather than technically challenging equipment.
