Nic Taylor Commercial Photographer

Nic is a commercial photographer based in the Northwest of England but frequently travels throughout the UK photographing various projects. He specialises in photographing food, drinks and interiors and has worked with some large brands including Ooni (pizza ovens), BOL Foods, Coconut Collaborative, LLaeth Y Llan, Paul UK, Browns Brasserie, La Tasca and Wildwood restaurants to name a few.

Having worked as an ambassador for Samyang since 2016, Nic has produced numerous images which have been used globally to showcase most lenses that the brand has unveiled since that time.

Nic tells us that there’s a few key lenses that he uses during shoots; for food and drinks he mainly shoots with the AF 50mm f1.4 FE MKII and AF 75mm f1.8 FE on his Sony A7RIII. When it comes to interiors, he uses a mixture of AF 14mm f2.8 FE, 24mm Tiltshift and his 35mm f1.4 FE. When he’s not shooting commercial photography Nic likes to shoot with the incredibly lightweight and compact AF 24mm f2.8 FE and AF 35mm f2.8 FE as they offer a convenient yet powerful combination to use with any Sony E-mount camera.
