You Have Chosen…Wisely

Last week SmallHD introduced the Indie 7; a brand new, 7” on-camera monitor. An entry-level addition to their “Smart 7 Monitor Family”, along with the mid-range 702 Touch and the flagship Cine 7. Each of these monitors is built off the same anodised aluminium chassis; has a 7” HD display, 4K HDMI & 3G-SDI connections, 1:1 pixel mapping and utilises the same PageOS 4 firmware, giving you all of the tools you need in an on-camera production monitor; LUTS, scopes, frame guides…the list goes on!So, while they look almost identical and share so many great features, it is important to know how they differ so that you can make the best decision for your production requirements.
