Specifications

  • Card Type: expressP2
  • Interface: USB 3.0
  • Read Speed: 2.4 Gbps

AU-XPD1 is specifically designed to accommodate the new larger expressP2 solid state memory card and features USB 3.0 for fast transfer of content.

The AU-XPD1 expressP2 card drive incorporates one card slot compatible with expressP2, standard P2 and microP2 memory cards (with the use of the microP2 card adaptor, AJ-P2AD1).

Equipped with two USB 3.0 Type B interfaces, one for fast data transfer and the other for line power to power the AU-XPD1 from the computer. There's no need for external power adaptor although one is provided if needed.

The USB 3.0 interface facilitates the fast offload of material from the expressP2 card at speeds up to 2.4Gbps or up to 1.2GB for standard ‘F’ series P2 cards. This improved performance makes the AU-XPD1 a fast alternative to the USB 2.0 AJ-PCD2 P2 card drive.

For production teams, their 4K HDR capture makes them a superb on-camera SD card recorder. The ATEM Mini is a very small, cost-effective 4 channel HDMI video switcher with streaming output. Great as a portable mixer or a signal switcher, it’s being adopted by everyone from conference producers to AV technicians looking for simple HDMI switching.

* Type of AU-XPD1 drive
There are two types of AU-XPD1 drive. One type supports “B series expressP2 cards” and the other type does not. But the firmware update file is common to both, and the firmware version of each unit is automatically recognized so that it is updated.

Improvement

  • If AU-XPD1 drive is left un-operated in the state of being connected, the drive letter for it is deleted. (It is unmounted.)
  • If a clip is written to a card, the drive starts working incorrectly and its USB link is disconnected.
