Cage only for Canon C80 - Space Grey
The Canon C80 is an incredible camera built off of the much loved Canon C70. After years of using the C70 in the field and taking tons of feedback from customers, we’ve created a one-of-a-kind Canon C80 Cage. With modularity baked into its DNA, the C80 Cage allows for use in multiple configurations:
With just the Top Plate, users are able to mount NATO or ARRI ⅜”-16 handles or the native Canon C80 handle in either orientation. The plate snugly integrates into the Canon anti-twist ridges and mounts with a single ¼”-20 bolt. The Canon Mic mount can also be directly connected to the right side of the Top Plate.
Composed of the Top Plate, Corner Connector, Left Side Rail, and Baseplate. This cage is insanely light and just over 8 oz yet built to withstand the rigors of set life. The ARRI-style anti-twist mounts throughout, the cage is built to rig.
The complete KONDOR BLUE Canon C80 Cage offers unparalleled solutions for rigging your cage in a pro way without the headache of needing a baseplate and rods. The Cold Shoe Rod Mount adds an additional layer of rigidity by tying into the camera’s cold shoe and 2x mounts into the back of the Top Plate. As the name suggests, the Cold Shoe Rod Mount includes 15mm 1” rods 60mm apart. This provides the perfect platform for mounting a KONDOR BLUE Pro Battery Plate off of the rods. The battery plate is ideally positioned above the native Canon battery slot so you can use redundant power for zero down moments on production. The Battery Plate can easily pivot out of the way to allow for monitor articulation.
No matter how you choose to run your rig, the KONDOR BLUE Canon C80 Cage is built to tackle any shoot.
