Your speaker wants to connect their laptop and see it displayed or projected straight away. They may have VGA, DVI, HDMI, Display Port or even SDI. So not getting the picture and fiddling with tiny dip switches, in a dark room, is what they want to avoid. Especially when there is no tech guy around.
The DAC-75T makes set up easy with a touch screen that clearly displays, in the dark, what connection is chosen. The screen also shows if it has detected the incoming video and what screen resolution is being sent out of the DAC-75T to your projector. It can accept either VGA, HDMI, SDI and RCA inputs as well as output HDMI and SDI video with embedded audio. DVI and Display Port sources can connect by adding an HDMI adapter cable.
With the DAC-75T all you need to do is touch the screen then… ready, set, present.
