Holdan signs distribution agreement with lens specialist SLR Magic

Holdan has signed an exclusive European distribution agreement with SLR Magic. The complete range of lenses and optics is now available via Holdan’s network of specialist resellers in the UK, Ireland and across the continent. The SLR Magic range can first be seen on the Holdan stand at the Media Production Show in London on June 9-10 2016.

TWe are enjoying strong demand for our ever growing range of lenses, filters and adapters. We therefore need a responsive and experienced distribution partner in Europe. As distributors for Blackmagic Design and Panasonic cameras, Holdan is the ideal partner to fulfil our customers’ needs and deliver first class service and support throughout the region.

Commented Andrew Chan, founder of SLR Magic.

SLR Magic manufactures more than twenty lenses in Sony, Micro Four Thirds and Fujifilm mount, and a range of exceptional apochromatic PL optics. Its anamorphic glass and adapters are highly respected by film makers for delivering the classic aspect ratio, contrast, distortion, chromatic, colour aberration, and flare characteristics of vintage lenses. The company’s affordable cinema lenses deliver exceptional image quality, with beautiful colours and attractive bokeh. They are suitable for digital cinema systems and DSLRs alike.

We are delighted to have concluded this distribution deal and are very excited to be bringing these new products to London. Filmmakers with access to new generation of 4K digital cameras need the highest quality glass. SLR Magic meet that requirement, offering lenses, adapters, anamorphic sets and filters that deliver superb results.

Noted David Morris, Holdan’s Product Manager.
