Data rule #1 Don’t lose you files

With Gnarbox 2.0’s built-in SD reader, you can safely offload files onto its fast internal SSD drive. The data is verified giving you complete reassurance while a high capacity replaceable battery provides all-day use of the 1TB back-up drive.

Data rule #2 Get working on your video as soon as you can

Back up and transfer of files is just one of Gnarbox’s tricks. Smartphones and tablets can review, manage, edit and transcode files on the unit via WiFi. This wireless connectivity also means that images and video can be automatically uploaded to online services such as Frame.io and Dropbox.

Sound

An external microphone is essential. With LUMIX GH5 and S series cameras, you have the choice of plugging in a:

• Microphone with a 3.5mm jack, such as the Azden SMX-30 (switchable mono/stereo mic) or the Azden PRO-XRe wireless kit.
• XLR type professional microphone via the LUMIX XLR-1 adapter unit. Azden’s SGM-250CX is a great choice as a compact, lightweight, high sensitivity shotgun mic, with a short length XLR cable.

Tripod

Manfrotto’s Pro Video Tripod is a stable and rigid two-stage platform. With a minimum height of 32.5cm and 1.58m, it gives you the flexibility to get the shot you need. Its Nitrotech N8 Video Head delivers exceptionally smooth movement and precise counterbalance, whether you mount the camera bare or fully rigged with accessories.

Monitor

SmallHD’s Focus OLED HDMI helps you frame each shot and check every aspect of the image. It has a beautiful screen and is packed with tools including peaking, anamorphic de-squeeze, frame guides, false colour, zebras, waveform, histogram, audio meters, RGB parade and vectorscope.

Slider

For motion control shots, automatic slider movements and sweeping panoramas, Syrp’s pro slider kit gives you complete control over 3 axes, with a slider track which can be extended almost infinitely. The tracking motions are incredibly smooth with soft start and stop points which are all app-controlled.

Protective Cage
