Holdan scores a home run with BVE North

Manchester-based Holdan will be exhibiting at the inaugural BVE North, taking place at the Manchester Central Arena.

Holdan will demonstrate some of the very latest products launched at IBC 2011. As Panasonic's official distributor, Holdan will have the new camcorders on the stand for the first time in the UK, including the P2 model AG-HPX250 that is the first 10 bit hand-held model to feature the AVC- Intra 100 codec.

The eagerly awaited Panasonic AG-AC130 and AC-160 AVCCAM camcorders will be premièring at the show. With a 22x zoom, dual SD cards for relay or simultaneous recording and exceptional low light recording capabilities, both these cameras deliver the quality and flexibility professional video makers demand.

On the booth the cameras will
feed the brand new professional plasma monitors from Panasonic. These 42” and 50” screens are graded for use in film and TV in 2D and stereoscopic production environments.

Controlling the screens will be TVone's new C3-540 CORIOmaster processor that controls creative and dynamic video displays. A highly flexible product, the CORIOmaster allows producers to design multi-screen video displays real-time.

BlackMagic Design DaVinci Resolve 8.1 will make its debut. Features include new layer node composite effects, ACES colorspace support, compatibility for Avid AAF and round trip with Media Composer and FCP 7. BlackMagic will also be exhibiting their range of highly affordable mini converters and unveiling their range of 17” rack mount HD monitors.

In conjunction with Emap, Holdan is offering a prize for the best short film submitted to the organisers. On offer is a HDC-Z10000, the latest generation of full HD 3D camcorders from Panasonic that also records very high quality 2D pictures.

Allan Leonhardsen of Holdan UK commented: "A professional show coming so quickly after IBC is an ideal opportunity for our Northern customers to see the latest equipment to hit the market. Having so much new technology on show will make it a really exciting event."
