To coincide with the launch of Datavideo's CG-500, Holdan has released its quick guide to CG and titling software for live production.

Datavideo has introduced two new prompting systems to complete its line-up of teleprompters. Like earlier systems, the TP-500 and TP-600 are designed around Apple iPad and Google’s Android tablets, to deliver a cost-effective and versatile solution. Each teleprompter is controlled by the presenter via a wired or wireless remote. However, twinned with mini WiFi encoders, multiple teleprompters can even be controlled from the production desk.

Holdan will show the Datavideo MS-3000 for the first time at the London show in February. A portable HD production unit (PPU), the MS-3000 is complete with everything producers need to match cameras, legalize signals, mix and switch feeds, insert graphics and logos, integrate audio, record programmes and communicate with the crew, talent and vision mixer. 

Holdan will launch the Datavideo HS-2800 portable integrated production studio at BVE 2013. A complete mobile switcher and multiviewer, the new product supports multi-camera shoots and blends video sources, audio feeds, logos and graphics on the fly for highly professional results, live from any venue.

In the past, test and measurement equipment was designed exclusively for broadcast engineers. Vectorscope and waveform read-outs sketching out shapes on a scope were readily understood by technicians fluent in the language of signal analysis.

In the wake of new prompting apps that support both Apple's iOS and Google's Android operating systems, Datavideo has unveiled a prompter rig that extends hardware support to Android tablets as well as the iPad and iPad 2.

The SE-600 is a low cost 8 input standard definition switcher and is available in hand-carry format as the HS-600.  The SE-2800 HD/SD switcher features 12 inputs with 4:2:2 10 bit broadcast quality and is small enough for mobile or OB situation.  Datavideo also announces the shipping of its flagship model, the SE-3000 with 3D DVEs, high quality multi screen multi-view output, chromakey, dual PIP, and a full size control panel keyboard as well as PC control interface.

Datavideo's popular dv Prompter software is now available on the Google Android platform.  Ready for immediate download from the app store, the Android version comes in the wake of the Apple iPhone version which is rated 4+ by its users.
