The Grass Valley EDIUS HD Turnkey System is a complete software and hardware solution which is ready to use straight out of the box. The system is built around the EDIUS HD which is designed for broadcast studios, offering realtime capabilities unrivaled by much costlier solutions. EDIUS HD is engineered to deliver the scalable functionality and extraordinary video quality for which Grass Valley/Canopus is renowned, providing unsurpassed mixed-format editing, effects processing and output. EDIUS HD is built around three key components: Grass Valley EDIUS Broadcast NLE software; Canopus software video codecs; and the Canopus RX-E1 SDI input/output board and the HDBX1000, a convenient, 3U rack-mountable multi-I/O processor unit.
