An Outstanding Realtime Editing System for analogue, SD-SDI (SP-SDI only) DV and HDV
EDIUS SP-SDI is the most advanced professional nonlinear editing system in its class. Boasting hardware-based editing acceleration and high-quality video input and output circuitry, EDIUS SP-SDI interfaces with professional and consumer video equipment including HDV, DV and all analogue cameras and decks.
Like EDIUS NX Express, EDIUS SP-SDI incorporates EDIUS NLE software and offers true realtime editing and full quality, full resolution output of HD and SD material captured from HDV and DV decks. Additionally, EDIUS SP-SDI is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing studio environments, featuring support for professional video equipment, with SD-SDI (with embedded audio), component video and XLR balanced audio I/O, as well as frame-accurate RS-422 VTR control and external reference sync input connections.

A 19-inch 1U breakout box is also available as an option for EDIUS SP-SDI/SP systems (sold separately).

| With a solid, 1U 19-inch rackmount design, the EDIUS SP-SDI Breakout Box option is a tidy and convenient solution for connecting the many different analogue and digital video devices that EDIUS SP-SDI supports. Connected via the included D-Sub data cable, the breakout box features the same connectors as the multi-I/O connector cable shipped with EDIUS SP-SDI including SD-SDI (SP-SDI only) FireWire, SD component input, HD/SD component output, balanced and unbalanced audio, S-Video and composite. |

Minimum System Requirements: |
EDIUS SP-SDI is capable of editing both SD and HD content in realtime. However, the system requirements for realtime HD editing are significantly higher than for SD editing. The PC components listed here assume realtime HD editing is a requirement.
