No more network hang-ups and capacity limitations—Mantis digital media players take the worry out of loading high-definition video through standard IT networks. Transfer media to your Mantis player via the standard DVD drive or via the 10/100 network connection. Powered by Focus Enhancements’ Gemini Universal Media Card, Mantis players decode all 18 ATSC format, output to a resolution of your choice (1080i) at a 16:9 aspect ratio, and offer precise A/V synchronization using hardware-enabled Dolby Digital™ decoding.
Mantis digital media players feature SNMP, satellite, and terrestrial multicast support, along with content updating via FTP or HTTP. All models are available with Focus Enhancements’ Media Messenger® remote media management software for convenient scheduling and content distribution, and they feature a WebView™ browser-based user interface and TCP/IP or serial control.
Combined with Focus Enhancements’ Media Messenger management software, Mantis digital media players offer precise time/date part content scheduling and automated, unattended playback. They also leverage the hardware watchdog diagnostic system to monitor performance, secure playback, and help protect from burn-in on high-definition plasma displays.

The unit is also available in a single-channel configuration that can be upgraded to two channels via the SmartCard. |
