The Bebob LUX LED DV is available with adaptors for Sony Z1, FX-1, V1, FX-7, PD150/170 VX-2000, VX-2100. Canon A1 and G1, and Panasonic HVX-200 and DVX-100b. (Coming Soon, available for Sony EX-1).

Using the cameras battery for power, means you only need to carry one type of battery and one type of charger too.

With the Sony NPF970 or other long life batteries the camera and light will run for 2½ hours constantly.

A dimmer switch is built in separately from the on off switch so an intensity can be preset even when the light is switched on and off. Unlike Halogen lights, the Bebob LED light will use less power when you dim it down, so the battery will last longer.

It draws only 12 Watts of power, but throws out the equivalent of 35 Watts of Halogen light.

It has a daylight colour temperature.

It can focus from spot to flood, 40 – 60 degrees. At the flood end the mirror is designed to be used with the built in diffuser to give an exceptionally even light.

The unique 5 LED bulb design uses LEDs of the latest generation unlike other LED lights which accounts for the doubling of performance.

The 5 LEDs are powered on separate circuits so in the very unlikely event of one failing, the rest will continue to work.

The LEDs will last 15,000 to 20,000 hours, that is 2 years of constant use!  It comes with a 5 year warranty.

The barn doors and filters are removable, replicable and an easy bayonet fitting makes them easy to remove for storage.

Contrary to popular belief LEDs do produce a large amount of heat, but the unique design of the Bebob LED light uses a high tech Heat Pipe to disperse the intense heat safely and efficiently.  After running all day the light will only be warm to the touch. This is not just so you can pack it away at the end of the day without any risk, but also because LED bulbs can loose 35% of their light output when they become hot.
