A New Handheld Recorder with HD-SDI Input and Output!

The AG-HMR10 is the world's first* compact portable recorder with HD-SDI input and output. It features twice the compression efficiency of MPEG-2 and offers the superb image quality of the AVCHD format. Its PH mode produces outstanding images with a maximum bit rate of 24 Mbps to meet professional needs. Up to 720 minutesof recording is possible onto a highly reliable 32Gb SDHC Memory Card with excellent resistance to vibration, impact, dust and temperature fluctuations. Approximately 180 minutes of data can be recorded in the highest quality PH mode.

The optional AG-HCK10 camera head features a 12x optical zoom lens, Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) and a newly developed 1/4.1-inc, approx. 2-megapixels (Effective image pixels), progressive 3MOS. By connecting the AG-HCK10 to AG-HMR10 compact portable recorder witha cable, the iris, focus and zoom can be remotely controlled from the front panel of the AG-HMR10. The HCK10's small size makes it ideal for use in law enforcement, medicine, education and more; and its compactness allows it to be easily mounted to cranes and other devices to acquire unique angles for TV programming and other types of content creation.

Continuous recording added to Panasonic AG-HMR10 with new Repeat Record feature.

A new firmware update for the Panasonic AG-HMR10 recorder includes a new Repeat Record feature.

This allows the unit to record continuously in 6MBS HE mode and retain the last 12 hours of footage if using a 32GB SD card or 6 hours of footage if using a 16GB card. The AG-HMR10 will record in 90 minute blocks, overwriting the last 90 minute clip as the card becomes full. At most 12 seconds of footage is lost out any 90 minute period after the card has reached capacity.

The AG-HMR10 must be used with the mains adaptor for this mode, and can be fed with either HDSDI or from the AG-HCK10 camera head.

This feature can be used for security or for insurance purposes, and for any long term monitoring.
