The HPX600 is a very important camera for Panasonic. It represents everything about where camcorder technology is going and packages it in one the the lightest weight professional bodies available. Wireless, networked, iPad controlled, proxy generating, 100Mb/s enabled, studio adaptable, prepared for Ultra-AVC... it really doesn't miss a trick. It's such an all rounder that it's hard to think of a production it's not suited for.

The AG-HPX600 is an interchangeable lens lightweight ENG camera system, remarkable for its IT connectivity and future-ready technology. It is an easy to use solution for news gathering, image production and other applications.
Accommodating a variety of interchangeable lenses, this P2 2/3” Shoulder Mount camcorder has a compact body with the industry's lightest weight** (3kg***). The AG-HPX600 is the first model to offer expandability* to Panasonic's new AVC-ULTRA Series of professional codecs.
Its newly developed MOS sensor attains high F12 sensitivity (at 60Hz) and low noise with a S/N of 59dB. AVC-Intra100/50, DVCPRO HD, DVCPRO50, DVCPRO and the DV format are equipped as standard recording codecs.
Data can be output over WiFi, ethernet or to a USB drive and there is even the potential for media on the P2 card to be managed, edited and compiled into a playlist via a mobile app.

The AG-SFU603G is a software upgrade key which integrates the LiveU LU40*2 portable lightweight uplink solution with the AG-HPX600 HD camera recorder. You can activate the extension function using this software key, only after installing the free to download software upgrade (download from Panasonic's website) which should be released simultaneously, on the AG-HPX600 camera body.
The LiveU LU40 and the AG-HPX600 are interconnected via SDI and USB. Live camera video　(HD/SD signal) can be transmitted through up to six connections via the LU40. This upgrade will allow the uplink ‘start-and-stop’ to be controlled from the AG-HPX600 and the LU40 status to be displayed on the AG-HPX600 viewfinder, enabling camera operators to relay live video securely.
*1: For the expanded functionality, the software upgrade should be installed. The software can be downloaded from Panasonic’s website (free-of-charge) on the AG-HPX600 camera.
