Connect to Anything
Multibridge Eclipse connects to SDI, HDMI, component analogue, NTSC/PAL and S-Video equipment for capture and playback, while instantly switching between SD, HD and 2K. Multibridge Eclipse also has 12 channels of XLR AES/EBU audio in and out and 4 channels of XLR professional analogue audio in and out. Now you can work with the widest range of equipment, such as HDCAM, HD-D5, HDCAM SR, Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, HD receivers, HDV cameras, televisions, mixers and many more.

Advanced 3 Gb/s SDI Technology
With the exciting new 3 Gb/s SDI connections built in, Multibridge Eclipse allows twice the SDI data rate than normal HD-SDI. Use 3 Gb/s SDI for 4:4:4 HD with a single BNC connection, or use Blackmagic Design's new 2K via SDI for high resolution real time 2048 x 1556 feature film editing. Only 3 Gb/s SDI technology provides full compatibility with SD, HD and 2K, in 4:4:4 or 4:2:2, all with a single BNC cable.

Multibridge Eclipse is the first solution to include 3 Gb/s SDI allowing native 2K editing, while retaining full compatibility with HD-SDI and SD-SDI equipment. Multibridge Eclipse features incredible quality Dual Link 4:4:4 SDI and Single Link 4:2:2/4:4:4 SDI in 8 and 10 bit. Elegantly styled front panel status indicators and 32 independent audio level meters provide feedback for mission critical broadcast environments.

Enhanced Audio Connectivity
Multibridge Eclipse features a massive 12 individual channels of AES/EBU digital audio in and out using industry standard XLR connections with sample rate conversion on each input. Multibridge Eclipse also includes 4 channels of XLR professional analogue audio in and out and 2 channels out for HiFi monitoring.

High Speed PCI Express Connection
Only Multibridge Eclipse's super fast 10 Gb/s connection plugs directly into the computer's motherboard. Unlike FireWire, PCI Express doesn't suffer latency or require any video compression, so you get a fluid editing experience at the highest video quality. Includes PCI Express cable and 4 lane plug-in card.

Use your favourite video software such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Combustion, Fusion and many more. 4 Lane PCI Express
Multibridge includes a 4 lane PCI Express Adapter and 4 Lane PCI Express connection cable so you get the speed for all video formats.

2K Feature Film Resolution
Multibridge Eclipse has the speed of PCI Express combined with support for an Apple 30 inch Cinema display when used with the HDLink Pro and a 30 inch DVI-D computer monitor. That allows the full resolution of a 30 inch display to be used for native play back 2K feature film resolution, so you see pixel for pixel feature film resolution. That's because Multibridge with PCI Express supports the new 3 Gb/s SDI with 2K real time playback. When combined with HDLink+Pro, large 30 inch 2560 x 1600 resolution displays can be used for native 2048 x 1556 playback. Imagine editing 2K video in real time at full resolution without proxies.

Capture Gamma Tables
Capture video direct from log video sources by using custom gamma tables loaded into the DeckLink system preference. DeckLink uses the same gamma table technology and file format as the popular HDLink Pro DVI converter, so you can reuse your custom gamma tables facility wide. You can even customize lift, gain and gamma settings for each RGB channel, if you're simply color balancing input video. We also include Panasonic and Grass Valley Viper camera standard gamma tables, allowing instant setup when on the production set.

Flexible Rack Mount
Multibridge was designed with a compact rack mount design letting you mount in equipment racks for large system installation, or remove the rack brackets and install the included rubber feet for desktop use. Multibridge models are extremely compact, so you can install in the front or rear side of equipment racks, saving valuable equipment space.

Configure and Update via USB
Forget annoying DIP switches, as Multibridge features all settings and software updates via built-in USB 2.0 connection and the easy to use Multibridge Utility software for Windows™ and Mac OS X™.

Blackmagic Deck Control
Blackmagic Deck Control application lets you capture and play clips, and it takes care of communicating with decks via RS-422. Blackmagic Deck Control software is easy to use, and just enter an IN and OUT timecode point, and select grab, or put, and your clip will be transferred between Multibridge and your broadcast deck. It's all automatic, so it's fast.
